A Visit from Vaughn Eaglebear

We had a treat at school yesterday when Vaughn Eaglebear came to perform for the student body. We learned that Vaughn had attended school part of his life in Inchelium. He is a stand up comic and did lots of things that made us laugh. He is also known for writing the song "John Wayne's Teeth" in Smoke Signals. He also had a positive message for all of us at school about what happens if you join gangs, use drugs and alcohol, or drop out of school. Most students loved it when he played his drum and sang.
